We're thrilled you are interested in teaching the Punk Rock Yoga^® style in your community. This is the licensing program for businesses seeking to license multiple teachers. If you are an individual instructor please use the instructor form. If you are a non-profit organization, please contact us for licensing details.

We have several guidelines for the classes that we will send to you after your application is accepted.

Organization Program

The organization program is designed for organizations wishing to offer Punk Rock Yoga classes and license the name as an organizational license and have multiple teachers teach this style.

What you get:

• 5 copies of the Punk Rock Yoga teacher guideline manual with great tips and creative ideas for making your classes truly unique
• Space for your class schedule, information, and your bio on www.punkrockyoga.com
• Your location featured prominantly on www.punkrockyoga.com
• Use of the Punk Rock Yoga logo in your promotional material - great name recognition
• Free consultations and advice on everything from finding musicians to running a successful class
• Punk Rock Yoga teacher discussion list access
• Marketing and public relations support

What it costs:

• $40 per month (or $380/year if one-year paid in full)
• Contract good for one year, but you can cancel at any time after initial three months

What we require of classes: (more info contained in the guidelines manual)

• Limited mirrors (if you have mirrors, try to have students sit in a circle so the focus is not on staring at yourself in the mirror)
• Dimmable lighting
• No sales pressure - students should be permitted to take the classes as a drop-in without being pressured to join as a member
• Affordable price (we strongly encourage 80% of the average drop-in cost for your area)
• Pose names given in English and pose instructions specific
• Inclusive and encouraging words
• Modifications and options provided
• Unconventional music used and live music at least once a month
• Community-building work through poses, discussions, etc.

What we require of your organization's teachers:

• Have a minimum 60 contact hours of yoga teacher training through a teacher-training school accredited by the Yoga Alliance
• Have training in the following areas: anatomy and physiology, modifications for various populations and injuries, verbal and gentle physical adjustments, and the eight limbs of yoga
• Be actively working toward their 200 Registered Yoga Teacher Certification
• Have a teacher profile on file with Punk Rock Yoga
• Have professional liability insurance
